“Después de ocho años de no haber
recibido tal distinción, Veracruz
lo consigue mediante el esfuerzo
coordinado de la sociedad civil, los
ayuntamientos y la Secretaría de Turismo
y Cultura para traer mayores beneficios
a nuestro estado”, expresó el titular de
la dependencia, Iván Francisco Martínez
Olvera, al término de la ceremonia en la
Ciudad de México.
Por sí misma, la denominación significa
un crecimiento del 8 por ciento anual
en el Valor Agregado Censal Bruto del
destino, mientras la actividad económica
en torno a los servicios turísticos tendrá
un mayor impulso de la Federación
desde iniciativas como Rutas Mágicas
de Color, creada para mejorar la imagen
urbana y rescatar los espacios públicos.
Igualmente, la promoción del patrimonio
natural y cultural continuará en el
segundo Tianguis Internacional de Pueblos Mágicos, a efectuarse en Los Ángeles, California, del 21 al 24 de
septiembre; además de la quinta edición
nacional en Pachuca, Hidalgo, del 22 al
25 de noviembre, y el Tianguis Turístico
México en marzo de 2024.
De esta forma, La Ciudad de los
30 Caballeros con sus haciendas,
museos, portales, teatros y edificios
coloniales, junto a la villa del calzado
y sus iglesias, cascadas, danzas, mole
y campos de cempasúchil, se unen a
la magia de Coatepec, Xico, Papantla,
Coscomatepec, Orizaba y Zozocolco,
siendo orgullo, tradición y herencia de
las y los veracruzanos.

such a distinction, Veracruz achieves
